Here’s a recipe for Air Fryer Chicken Kiev:


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Non-stick cooking spray


  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing horizontally through the thickest part of the breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, garlic, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Divide the butter mixture evenly among the chicken breasts, spooning it into the pocket of each breast. Use toothpicks to seal the pocket shut.
  5. Put the flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs into three separate shallow bowls.
  6. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the egg, and finally the panko, making sure the chicken is well-coated with each.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.
  8. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
