Air Fryer Recipes

air fryer recipes for beginners
Years ago (even before our first deep fryer cookbook sparkled in our eyes), we were definitely wary of another kitchen appliance. We have enough equipment in our kitchens as they are (slow cookers, waffle makers, mixers, etc.) so anything new has to be amazing.

As it turns out, the deep fryer is TOTALLY worth it. Our top reasons: We love fried foods (who doesn’t?!), but we don’t mind all the oil, mess, and cleanup that comes with it. An air fryer solves all this in less than half the time.

It turns out that the crispiest and juiciest foods always burn thanks to hot air convection cooking. Check out this comprehensive list of all our favorite air fryer recipes to see just how versatile it really can be, and if you don’t already have one, consider it your go-to!

How to Convert Air Fryer Recipe to Oven

It’s pretty wild how often we use ours. It has become our choice from breakfast to dessert and has even surpassed our toaster as the appliance of choice.

Speaking of toast, you can make almost all of your regular breakfast items in a deep fryer. We’re talking omelets, muffins, avocado toast, sausage, bacon, pancakes… We know, CRAZY, right?

It is equally effective in helping you prepare delicious lunches and dinners. If you have an entree that you want to spend more time with, throw the sides in the deep fryer and let it do all the work.

Vegetables like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, onions and cauliflower turn out amazing in the air fryer.

How to use Air Fryer Recipes

You can also prepare the main course in a deep fryer. It works like magic with proteins like tofu, chicken thighs, dumplings, pork chops, fried chicken… even steak.

Need some last minute snacks? Stick to your favorites, but make them in your deep fryer. For ideas, check out our Crab Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms, Stuffed Zucchini Crust, Spinach Artichoke Zucchini, or Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers – your deep fryer can whip them up in half the time it usually takes.

And we can’t forget dessert. The air fryer can make some really amazing options like Vegan Berry Chocolate Cake with Crispy Zucchini (so moist!), Apple Pie “Baked” Apples, or GF Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

It should also be noted that an air fryer is great for reheating things, especially desserts. Left over cake and don’t want to turn on the oven to reheat?
