Angiosperms are vascular plants with leaves, stems and leaves. The seeds of angiosperms are found in the flower. These are the most abundant of all plants on earth. The seeds grow and produce fruit within the plant tissues. That is why they are also known as flowering trees.

Characteristics of Angiosperms
All plants flower at some stage in their life. Flowers are the reproductive organs of a plant, which gives them a way to exchange genetic information.
- The seeds are divided into leaves, stems and leaves.
- The vascular system consists of true vessels in the xylem and synaptic cells in the phloem.
- The seeds (microsporophylls) and carpels (megasporophylls) are arranged in a structure called a flower.
