Grilled Salmon Sandwich with Dill Sauce Recipe
I made this sandwich once and have been hooked ever since! Once you get into the groove, this is a quick and easy dinner. And it is eaten warm or cold.
Grilled salmon sandwich with dill sauce is a delicious and healthy meal that is perfect for lunch or dinner. Here’s a simple recipe to make this tasty sandwich:
- 2 salmon fillets, skin removed
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced red onion
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Grill the salmon fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- While the salmon is cooking, make the dill sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Toast the bread slices.
- To assemble the sandwich, spread the dill sauce on one side of each bread slice.
- Add lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, and red onion on top of the sauce on two bread slices.
- Place a grilled salmon fillet on top of the vegetables on each sandwich.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, sauce-side down.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
