- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon slices and chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, honey, and dried oregano.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
- Pour the lemon garlic sauce over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well coated.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
