  • 2 Ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)


  1. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the steaks to coat them evenly, and let them marinate for 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels.
