Sheet Pan Smoked Sausage, Apple, and Root Veggie Dinner is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that’s perfect for a cozy fall or winter evening. Here’s a simple recipe:


  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium red potatoes, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced smoked sausage, chopped sweet potatoes, chopped red potatoes, chopped carrots, chopped onion, and chopped apples with the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the mixture out on a large sheet pan in a single layer.
