Tragedy
It is a theatrical literary form or dramatic genre of solemn language in which the main characters are illustrious and are confronted in a mysterious, inevitable, and invincible way because of a fatal error or condition of their character against a fatal destiny that causes a conflict whose The end is inevitably sad, being the destruction of the protagonist through his death or madness.
The word tragedy comes from the Greek term tragedy or “song of the goat” that alludes to the song that the Athenians sang in the processions in honor of the god Dionysus in their Dionysian festivals.
It is defined as a dramatic work of terrible history and a disastrous ending in which heroes or illustrious characters take part. Use the solemn language to convey the story.
Comedy
It comes from the Latin “comoedĭa-ae” and this in turn from the Greek word “kōmōidía” is a genre totally opposite to the tragedy normally associated with stories with a happy ending. It is a pleasant and optimistic reading that had its origin in the fertility cults in honor of the god Dionysus.
It was in ancient Greece where it acquired its greatest splendor, then it went to Rome and from there it spread to the Middle Ages where it acquired a very light and elemental tone, becoming a burlesque tone and dividing into several subgenres

The Greek author Aristophanes is considered to be one of the first authors of the genre. He developed about 11 works where dialogue and singing alternated.
