Tuna From Can To Frying Pan

This was something experimental that I came up with the night before because I was hungry and had leftover canned tuna after lunch. This is something you can also experiment with and adjust to your personal taste. It’s great when you’re short on time.

If you want to fry canned tuna, here’s a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the drained tuna to the pan and cook for a few minutes until it starts to brown, stirring occasionally.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you want to add a little tanginess to the dish, you can squeeze some lemon juice over the tuna before serving.
  5. Serve the fried tuna hot with your favorite side dishes.

Note: Canned tuna is already cooked, so you don’t need to cook it for too long. Just enough to heat it up and give it a nice texture.
