This is such an easy, light, refreshing and YUMMY sandwich!
Here’s a recipe for a delicious Turkey Avocado Panini:
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp of Dijon mustard
- 1 large ripe avocado, sliced
- 8 slices of turkey breast
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat a panini press or a grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard together.
- Spread the mayo-mustard mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the avocado slices on one side of each sandwich, followed by 2 slices of turkey and 1 slice of provolone cheese.
- Top each sandwich with the remaining slice of bread, mayo-mustard side down.
- Brush the top and bottom of the sandwich with olive oil.
- Place the sandwiches on the preheated panini press or grill pan.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
