In addition, eating fish twice a week will provide a sufficient amount of iodine for the body. Dairy products and eggs are also considered food sources of iodine.

In some cases, nutritional supplements may be necessary if a person cannot obtain a sufficient amount of iodine through food. It should be noted that a multivitamin tablet provides 100-150 micrograms of iodine.
