What is Erosion?
Erosion is a natural process that occurs at the earth’s crust. It removes soil and rock from the earth’s surface, and also dissolves material in the earth’s crust and transports it to another place As can be seen, speed is important in the process of erosion and thus distinguishes it from deflection of the weather.
Rainfall, rock erosion from rivers, coastal rock erosion by sea and waves, rain upwelling, erosion, i.e. wear and tear of materials during transportation, localized flooding, and wind erosion all contribute to erosion.
What is Weathering?
As seen during erosion, the process of material transport plays an important role, and on the other hand, such a phenomenon does not occur, because the decomposition of all other minerals from the mineralized stones and soil ceramics made with wood is a process and naturally occurs in the open air.
It occurs when given substances interact with gases in the atmosphere ie. atmospheric gases and other organic matter and water
This is always done on site, usually with no or minimal movement, this is also called “In Situ”. And this is the main point of difference in this climate change. when water and other corrosive substances move material from one place to another; The same factor causes the product to spoil in the weather.
The process of weathering is divided into two parts, namely physical and chemical weathering. The breakdown of rocks and soils of metals by water or heat or ice is called physical weathering. While decomposition occurring due to a chemical reaction in water or atmospheric air is called chemical weathering.
