Vitamin B is one of the compounds that provide health and nutritional benefits to the body. Foods and substances rich in it, in addition to nutritional and medicinal supplements, are among the most important sources of Vitamin B.

Thiamine

It is vitamin B1, and its importance lies in converting glucose into energy, in addition to its importance in the formation of the nervous system. This vitamin can be obtained from whole grains, legumes, nuts, yeast, red meat, eggs, and flour.

A deficiency of this vitamin causes many complications such as: confusion, irritability, weakness of the arms and legs, and lethargy. Laziness and muscle weakness also affect cardiovascular health.

Riboflavin

It is vitamin B2. This vitamin helps produce energy, improve vision, and obtain healthy skin. It can be obtained from milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs, and leafy vegetables.

A deficiency of this vitamin causes the appearance of red bumps on the tongue, red cracks in the mouth, inflammation of the eyelids, hair loss, and the appearance of a skin rash.

Niacin

It is vitamin B3. This vitamin converts carbohydrates and fats into energy and has a role in maintaining the health of the nervous and digestive systems and achieving healthy skin.

This vitamin can be obtained from meat, fish, mushrooms, eggs, and nuts, and its deficiency causes the appearance of a number of symptoms, which include feeling exhausted and tired,

The appearance of ulcers, vomiting, depression, poor blood circulation, and indigestion, but some cases may be so severe that they cause problems in the digestive system. Such as diarrhea, skin inflammation or peeling, and weak mental abilities.

Pantothenic Acid

It is vitamin B5. This vitamin has a role in helping the body benefit from carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and obtain healthy, radiant skin. It can be obtained from milk, meat, liver, eggs, peanuts, and legumes. Its deficiency leads to insomnia, fatigue, constipation, and stomach disorders.

Folic Acid

Folic acid, or vitamin B9, forms red blood cells in addition to its important role in forming the nervous system and the DNA of the fetus.

This acid can be obtained from citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables, liver, eggs, and poultry. A deficiency of this acid causes anemia, weight loss, and fetal deformities during pregnancy.
